Whoever said that money can't buy happiness, clearly hasn't heard of H&M

The long wait is over. H&M Abu Dhabi has finally opened its doors to its customers last Friday, November 5, 2010. The shop officially opened yesterday, but they had an early opening night last Friday at 7pm. The early opening entitled the first customers 15% discount on all items, and the privilege of purchasing the items before anyone else can get their hands on them. And I was one of the lucky ones.

I dressed up in the most comfortable outfit I could ever think of, black harem pants, an over-sized top, and my most comfortable shoes. I arrived at the mall at around 4, and decided to go directly to the store to get a first look on how it looks like.

At around 6.30, I knew it was time to meet up with the girls and head back to the store, so we won't miss anything. And as the clock struck 7, the doors opened, and most of the people waiting started rushing inside.

CRAZY
I literally gasped when I got to this part of the store. I've always loved accessories!

The perfect companions :) Who else would you bring on a shopping trip like this? No one does it better than my girl friends. ;)

This bag is on my wishlist. But, I wasn't able to get it. It's still too expensive for my liking.

Dj Snevana got us falling in love. ;)
Here are some of the items I've bought, excluding the top and the dress. I was broke this week, much to my dismay, which was why I held back. I guess I just have to wait for the next sale. *Sigh
Another addition to my bangles collection
Dhs 36

I'm obsessed with anything that has bows. I can't decide whether I should go for the gold or silver, so I bought both.

I actually bought this set because of the pair on the far right. They also have this in silver, but I like the gold more. Aldo also has this pair, but they cost twice as much.
Dhs 16
I got everything for less than a Dhs 100 including that top and dress I told you about. Although, I won't be posting the photos of those now. I figured it would be better if I just post them when I will be wearing them. ;)

So, there you go fashionistas. We now have our very own H&M in the city. This would definitely save us the time, money, and effort to go to Dubai just to visit our favorite shop. If you haven't visited it, you better visit now. The space is bigger than it looks like from the outside. Sure, the one in the Emirates Mall in Dubai is still way bigger, because it occupies the same space but on two floors, but this branch is very well stocked. So, you don't have to worry about them not having your size, or if they are selling the latest collection, and all those stuff. And the employees are friendly too!

I hope to see a lot of you there when I visit next time! Keep your style alive!

And don't forget the launching of Lanvin❤H&M on the 23rd of November. I will definitely see you there!

  1. Hi Daisy!

I know! I've been wanting for so long to get one! It's too bad I'm broke that week. :(

I will definitely save up and allot a part of my salary to satisfy my H&M obsession in the coming months. Haha! :)

    Thanks for dropping by!
